readers do not want to be bored by long passages of description.
So, we slip description into our action; and we use good vocabulary,
accurate words, and lots of verbs to help the reader 'see' the picture.
The canyon is flooding, and you are trapped. It seems that there
is disaster all around, and you are hurt and afraid.
